“Each year, we review innovative and impactful research projects that can advance scientific knowledge and improve patient care. The dedication and expertise of the researchers are impressive. However, with the demand for research funding greater than ever, the limited number of grants makes our task challenging. We are committed to a fair and thorough evaluation process to ensure that the funded projects have the greatest potential to impact healthcare outcomes.”
